Was Kaare FIRED from the Big 870 or did he RESIGN?
I met Mr. Johnson on a few occasions and he seems to be a nice fellow, but with an axe to grind, ie. Edwin Edwards should be in jail for life along with Marc Morial, etc. Those were the words out of Kaare's mouth.
On the other hand, Kaare is a great singer, back in Dec 2005 Zebra was doing a Katrina Benefit, and the opening band, I don't know the name of the band, Kaare Johnson and Darrell Greene(WVUE Fox 8)sat in on a few songs, and to the tune of Born to be Wild, came up with a parody tune called GORDON IS GAY.
Maybe Kaare should pursue a new career as a rock vocalist because he's got talent in that department.
Darrell Greene is a damn good guitar player as well.
