I hear what you're saying man and Im not really cynical as much as I would never assume that I could get a break and begin my talk radio career in market number one, you cant blame any company for that. However I do see your point, it's a strange time all the way around and although there is much confusion as to why someone would take a shot on someone like David Lee Roth who has no radio experience remember this: NO one knows what the show will sound like and as unlikely it is that ANYONE could successfully succeed Howard Stern remember that change rarely comes from those already doing something in whichever industry, never the insiders it's always the outsider who makes a difference.
it almost always comes from an outsider with no idea that something cannot be done...............Time will tell.
