I think the logo looks like too Industrial. lets face, the people listening to rock in new York are likely to have college degrees, i think something in a late 70's early eighties revival would resonate better with todays 25 year olds.
Honestly, Free-Fm had a better logo and imaging, it ws the format that was crap. I don't know why they changed the logo and imaging, now it very well may be that the imaging and logo are carp and the format is fine.

Uh, Free FM didn't have much of a logo...it was just a font with a ketchup stain behind it. (Or was that blood?). What's worse, it de-emphasized the frequency by making it a small afterthought at the top of the logo--which was a dumb move, since the frequency is often your most important identifier, especially with a brand new radio station. Worst logo ever.
Personally, I miss the previous K-Rock logo with the huge K at the top (with or without the circle in the back).
