K104.7 Edits Aerosmith Ad!

Editing out Motley Crue, but only mentioning Aerosmith & playing the ballad "Don't Want To Miss A Thing" as the music bed for the spot advertisement - making people think that that's what they're going to get when they go to the concert? They're in for a rude awakening when Aerosmith & The Crue rock!

K104.7 - lame!

I don't think anyone who knows much about music will be surprised, unless they have been living under a rock.

The spot was probably edited to make it more palatable to the station's listeners.

Sales rules, I's sure the mantra was GET THE BUY, GET THE BUY, GET THE BUY!!!

If "sales rules," then how come the commercial on the air is how programming wanted it?

Lose the internet knee-jerk response lines, kiddies.......

Because sometimes programming wins a minor victory.

Not sure what you mean by knee-jerk...it is true, sales rules, it's a fact. We all like to get paid.

Whatever, the beat goes on!
