It's week two and mornings are still jockless. What's the update?

Why not just Restore the 104-5 Frequency to it's orignal sound when the music was good, either move KRNB's format to 104.5,
or make KKDA more like the a Classic Hip Hop Station,

Like a KDAY or KHJZ in Honululu.

This mess called rap is what is further ruining us as a people, why do we continue to support these horrible Artist,

Fuguees, Slick Rick, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube,.....Now we have people like TI,Lil Wayne...etc.....we are really in trouble.

Make 104.5 a Classic Hip Hop Station...........

That would make perfect sense. But would you make more money with KKDA-FM as the adult R&B station or KRNB. I say 104.

I would probably place KRNB's format or KKDA-AM's Soul 73 back to 104.5 as KKDA "The Original K104. Move the Rap and classic Rap to 105.7. as "Blazin Hip Hop from before and Now" Thoughts ??? I wish WGCI and WJLB and other Heritage Stations would Consider this??

KKDA needs to stay on 730. Service Broadcasting would do themselves a big favor by focusing on adults instead of chilren.

I heard that 94.5 was kinda going in that direction with newer r&b and classic hip hop. Especially now that Spinderella on board. It haven't happened yet, but I'm keeping hope alive.

Buck Wilde starts tomorrow morning, but I don't see this show being a success if it's just him and two broads doing the same gossip that Skip Cheathum did.

Did anyone even bother to listen yesterday?

don't know how this is related, but.....

this morning I was playing chess at the starbuck's on camp wisdom / SH-360.

6 people came up and asked "are you <some name> from the K104 morning show?".

hmmmm.....maybe i look like I belong in the radio business ....

That's funny! Yes it is related. K104 has a contest going with the new morning guy, Buck Wilde. If you find him and ask him "Are you Buck Wilde from K104", you win $10,000. Bud, the reason you were approached this morning is because he said he was at a Starbucks somewhere in the metroplex.

My wife is a huge K104 fan and almost cried when she heard the Skip Cheatum news. She was willing to give the new guy a chance, but now, she is frustrated because it has been two days and no BUCK WILDE.

I understand the tease and creating a buzz but this has been ridiculous.

I understand. I think if he's not on the air by Monday morning, K104 has definitely taken this overboard.

Especially during the daytime hours when they could have more adult listeners and higher ratings. Leave the early evening hours to the children when they are more likely to be listening to the radio.

Yeah, I remember him from Birmingham since I'm from the area originally. He's kind of corny, but alright as a personality. He might be an alright fit to K-104...

Did he start? Is he any good? I don't listen to rap so I have to rely on the board to let me know.
