K104

I like the way K104 is sounding these days. They're putting more variety into their playlist, such as more throwback jams. It seems like they play a throwback jam every hour. I like that, they need to keep that up. They also have put on some more mix shows. I luv it.

That's that Michael Erickson takeover... I just don't think K104 would sound like this under Ken Dowe's watch.

One more thing. I hope Mike can make some positive changes to KRNB like I'm hearing on K104.

Yea, thats right buchwhyl K104 probably would not sound like this under Ken Dowe. I sure hope he does something with KRNB. I think they should put some more upbeat R&B songs on during the day, instead of just quiet storm music. Leave the quiet storm music for the nighttime. Also they should put some mixshows for Friday & Saturday nights.

Friday and Saturday night mixshows on KRNB? You got my vote.

Yeah, what's the deal with KRNB's playlist? They added more older songs.

I think many urban adult stations have gave up the "New R&B" format and started throwing the old school back in the mix.

I think its just harder to sell the New R&B format. It may work in the ATL or Chicago, but here...naw hoss, that dog is not going to hunt.

Oh my God! K104 is playing "Ready or Not", by the Fugees. I'm loving this sh!t!!

Yeah, it is nice. Just the other night I was up late and they were playing Mya/Silkk the Shocker "Movin' On". Lord knows how long its been since I heard that song. They even busted out with Bell Biv Devoe - Do Me one day.

If they would just stick to this, I would keep listening, but we are talking about Service Broadcasting after all...

Same here, if they stick to this I'll keep listening too. But like you said were talking about Service Broadcasting here. Personally I think they should bring back the Throwback Sunday 8am - 12noon & Throwback Lunchbreak. I enjoyed that alot

I'm in my car bouncing to "Poison", by BBD. I'm loving this!

I would luv a fri sat mix show on KRNB as long as its not slow sad songs. I want upbeat get you ready for the weekend Funk can we get some Funk on KRNB, Parliment , Slave, Brick even sum disco like Heatwave just speed it up a little sometimes.

Around 12PM yesterday, they were playing Monica's "Like This, Like That". When was the last time they were playing that song. 1995? 1996?

Just in this last hour of me posting this message (12:00 AM), they were playing Janet Jackson's "That's The Way Love Goes". K104 is really doing their thing now.

I'm telling you, K104 is on point. Now if they would tweek KRNB just a little more, it would be just as good.

That's good 2 know. I think this may work for DFW. Especially since everyone around here claims to love "old school". Maybe 104 has realized that the straight hip-hop music ain't the way.

Oh my God! Props, props, props goes to K104 for showing love to Maxwell and playing "Bad Habits", but what did they next?... "Number One Stunna" by Cash Money!!!! Michael Erickson, I knew it.. You da man!!!
