Who was the activist in Seattle who was living in a tree, refusing to come down, pooping into a bucket? He would be happy to handle the installation, i'm sure.
How are they even going to be able to pick up 92.7? That seems impossible to me.Embedded in the paperwork for K225DC's change to 106.5 is a change in the signal source..Instead of a direct feed from KGHO-LP it will be via 92.7 K224DR, a 250-watt Aberdeen translator that relays KGHO-LP.
This will sound great! I suspect there will be a good amount adjacent channel splatter from 92.9 KVNW on the 106.5 translator's input.
Here's a thought: Those Northwest Rockers should buy soon-to-be-deleted KGHP and be done with this translator-chaining mess. Because supposedly there's no intertie with KGHO-LP this scenario could be a quick win.
For the amount of money spent on some of these bizarre translators, they could have probably could have.NW R and R buying KGHP is actually a pretty good idea.
Well.. they'll have $20,000 less in their bank account. It' a pretty long read:
$20,000 for a shell corporation (totally not affiliated with KGHO) is probably going to be the final nail in the coffin…maybe not for KGHO, but definitely for the shell corporation. Doubtful KGHO itself has $20k in cash flow yearly.
Not associated with? John Spencer signed a KGHO application in 2015 and im pretty sure hes one of the spencers or directly related to one of the spencers thats part o the NW Rock n roll preservation society.
The FCC document that RF101 linked above said that the familial link alone was not enough for violating the rules regarding attributable ownership.
But the FCC also left the door open for the next complaint to provide additional evidence.
Maybe there is a tiny bit of justice after all. Now they should take it one step further and determine they filed a fraudulent application for an LPFM at the very beginning that they don't comply with LPFM licensee requirements. Frankly, I think the Commission let them off easy. Slap on the wrist where I'd consider auditing all their applications to determine how many other times they were deceptive or omitted important facts.Well.. they'll have $20,000 less in their bank account. You're right. They should be audited on that front too.I guess this is what happens when Brian Spencer 'plays' radio so much that he forgets to follow the rules! Bill W's probably thinking... "I told you so!", right now!
I wonder if they have even paid ASCAP/BMI fees?
