K230AL, 93.9, Boerne

Anybody know anything about K230AL, 93.9 in Boerne ?
The last few times I was in the area (2009, 2010), I heard nothing on the frequency ..
It's supposed to be a translator for KAHL 1310 ..
Anything pop up on 93.9 since 2010 ?
Thanks ..

I think I remember hearing it once around 2008-2009 after 103.7 in SA flipped when I was in the area. It was playing KMFR 105.9 from Hondo. Never heard it since.

Thanks for the reply ..
I was down there this past July and again heard nothing on the frequency ..
Seems strange how it's supposedly "licensed", yet hasn't been on the air for years ..

Maybe the transmitter died and the owners are too lazy to get it going again?

Just heard a liner when listening to 103.7 in San Antonio.
"KAHL San Antonio
K279AB San Antonio
K23AL Boerne
KAHL-FM Hondo"

If this is correct the Boerne translator is back. Can anyone varify?

I'll be in Boerne next week .. I'll check it out ..

Yes, the Boerne translator is indeed on the air, with KAHL ..

Anyone know what happened to 93.9 in Boerne? It's been silent for years but still shows license to cover and suppose to be carrying the KAHL signal? I know another station is possibly interested in broadcasting in Boerne and use the 93.9 antenna if they can work out a deal with the owner of the antenna.
