It wonder if KASB is putting out more juice than they are allowed, I noticed they are coming in quite well in downtown Seattle, noticeably better than KMIH ever did from a lower site, further away... very interesting.
As for 94.5, it seems to be covering downtown seattle like a wet blanket. I drove around a bit and the only place it is not perfect is the north side of queen anne hill where Vancouver cuts in some. The translator also manages to preserve the fidelity of the KMIH main channel pretty well which is not too surprising given the translator is not actually demodulating the audio (the receiver has an IF output that is feeding the exciter). Now to finish mounting the receive antenna for that translator to get rid of the tad bit of noise in the signal (the RX antenna is sitting on the KUOW/KCTS building roof right now).
