K272EK stunting?

U

Unknowable

A few days ago the Claro Communications translator stopped airing it's former Radio Formula SA programming and started airing the audio from sister KEDA 1540 at low volume.
Now it's playing 98-7 KLUV out of Dallas at low volume. The latter's quality sounds like someone has an FM radio and a cheap microphone in Dallas picking the signal.
Anyone know what's going on with it?

Update: Translator is now broadcasting KEDA at regular volume.

LOL, not a die-hard Tejano fan either but at least it's local radio... Good luck to them with their new FM. About time. ;)

K272EK is now rebroadcasting KEDA again, I believe this will be the permanent format. ;)
The sound's very clean and only appears to be lightly compressed (if that), with mostly bass and mids. The highs are for the most part non-existent, but it still doesn't sound too bad. The transmitter signal is stereo (not sure why because the audio going to the transmitter is in mono).

Audio wise, K272EK has been sounding great these past couple weeks or more. Seems they upgraded their equipment because the music is in stereo, now.
Also, the signal's a lot weaker than it was before the flip, I did see the posts on here about the high power levels. It seems they now have the rules under control (for that station at least) and are broadcasting what they're supposed to broadcast, for anyone who cares. :D

Now 1540 has added a translator, do you think they will flip or keep Tejano/Conjunto? If they flip I suggest TX country or Alt rock...
