It had been originating on KBXX HD-2, but that HD subchannel has been gone for several months now (HD-1 still on.) I haven't been able to find any other originating station for La Caliente, but that is typical translator shenanigans for the Houston market...I noticed 104.5 L Caliente has no HD Channel.
FCCdata doesn't display HD subchannels for translators anyway.I noticed 104.5 L Caliente has no HD Channel.
But the FCC files for the translators themselves list an originating station that provides an HD subchannel, or is an AM station.FCCdata doesn't display HD subchannels for translators anyway.
Correct, but the specific HD channel(s) aren't listed (i.e. KBKK-HD2). Radio-Locator lists HD channels if they are aware of them. But the FCC files for the translators themselves list an originating station that provides an HD subchannel, or is an AM station.
Yes, but as I've mentioned before there's a problem with the FCC. Translators are required to mail in notification (not efile) when they change their origination station. The FCC is supposed to review contours and approve or deny it. In reality, they just update their records about a year after the fact, if they ever bother to update them at allBut the FCC files for the translators themselves list an originating station that provides an HD subchannel, or is an AM station.
