If anyone has been listening to K97.5 in the Raleigh-Durham area, you will start to notice they are putting lots of re-currents and gold songs into high rotation. For example, I've been hearing a lot of "Mr. Carter" by Lil Wayne/Jay-Z. When that dropped 2 years ago, they weren't even playing it and now all of a sudden they're rotating it like it's brand new. 97.5 sucks these days. Now I see why people in Raleigh prefer listening to 102 Jamz over them...
 
Its either that or WKSL and WPLW/WWPL is trying to lure away K97.5's young adult demos, so they might be trying to up the ante here.
