KAAM News Brief Doorbell

I have geen listening to KAAM and noticed that during the news briefs at the top of the hour there is sometimes a doorbell sound in the background. I have heard two different versions. I don't know what company does the news for KAAM, but the anchor, for lack of a better term, is Roger Bateman. Does anybody know what that's about?

Being at the speaker end of the microphone - speaker radio continuum, I would never have guessed that the doorbell sound that was source of all this intrigue over the last couple of weeks was actually something as mundane as a - doorbell. :-[
