KABQ-FM ALBUQUERQUE FLIPS TONIGHT

After a two and a half year unsuccessful run with BA's format, Clear Channel's "Smooth Jazz 104.7" will change format at midnight to Classic Country - at least that's the rumor. I have to admit that between the boring music mix and the artist trackers who could barely speak, it has been a pretty bad presentation of the format. R.I.P.

They could speak, they just didn't know how to read the cards and the "ad libs" to make it sound like they were not reading them. No jock could talk that long and often about nothing and get through it unless they were reading.

LOL! They try to make listeners think that big name musicians are sitting in the studio doing live shows and sharing their favorite music with the audience. Norman Brown actually slipped in an interview and mentioned pre-recording his talk breaks and having to learn to read the scripts to make them sound like he wasn't reading.
