According to Allaccess.com Kaden has quit at Kiss and is heading to Movin in Dallas. Looks like he saw the last book where Sandra Pena #%#^$@slapped him and decided to get out while he still has any dignity left.

In this case SpongeBob knows what he's talking about. The article is in All Access. Kaden is leaving KISS. Who will take his place? Adam Smasher? Maybe Marcus Jordan? Special K? Or will it be the night show gopher Grillz? God I hope that isn't the case.

Thats what I'm saying...we all know he is leaving. (we can all read allaccess), but yes, the rest of his post is stupid. Ever think MAYBE he is moving because he's making a jump from market 15 to 5? Ever think maybe he's getting a 10k raise? But nooooooo, it must be because he needs to preserve his dignity.

Special K has always sounded best in middays. Can't move Supersnake. Marcus Jordan might be a good fit. Or they'll use the latter for a replacement until they find someone new or hunt someone down.

I sometimes catch my kids listening to KISS...13 &14. No offense, but I always thought the night show was kinda slow. Never heard many phones on the air - hardly any bits. But coming from a former night guy I might be biased. I thought night shows were supposed to be fun. Thats just me tho. In his defense - maybe he was just doing what he was told.

Yo.....radio message boards...the online bathroom wall! Here's the real deal: It's called a CAREER move.
Was approached with a better opportunity, WAY more loot, bigger market...you get it? Decision had nothing to do with Jamz....Wasn't really having fun in PHX and being I hadn't signed on the line...had the opp. to MOVE on. Had fun while it lasted. No clue who will be up next....although I know who won't. Smacked Sandra last book...even this book, Kiss is #1 12+ at night....Medina and the CC crew have been nothing but good to me. Being I'm going to CBS,...its understandable why they opted for no 2 week transition within the hallways. As far as long phoners/bits...didn't need anything overboard. Music's the focus, always was. Done a LOT more in other markets. At the end of the day, "IT'S RADIO" and this biz is like 8th grade...ok, get back to runnin' that board. Later PHX.

Haha. You're thinking of radio about 10-15 years ago and beyond, when creativity and personality development took priority over making sure you hit post, get to spots right at :20, :50, etc and playing the now overly homogenized brand. Generally speaking, it didn't take very long for major market radio to become as bland as it is today, sad. Simply can't imagine why people are favoring their ipods, internet and satellite more and more... what a mystery, sure hope the terrestrial folks solve the puzzle soon.

Talent still is important, just not as important as it was then. And Kaden wasn't a bad host, dude just wasn't memorable.
