WRONG AGAIN WRIKER. ::)

Not only did you get the the callsign for KRXY (As in Y108) wrong for the era you gave, but you somehow managed to get the frequency wrong. KRXY was on 107.5 You are thinking of KBRQ being on 105.1

Also, KADX wasn't even on ANY frequency in Denver (Unless it was low-powered).

Whoever (Or whatever) your source of information is WRIKER isn't very accurate. In fact, IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE as this is THE FOURTH time either myself or someone else has pointed out a mistake you made in a reply post.

If you're going to post about Denver Radio (Or Denver TV for that matter) history, then the least you can do is MAKE SURE YOUR FACTS ARE STRAIGHT & VERIFIED BEFORE YOU POST. This way, the rest of us don't have to correct your errors & you don't look like an arse.

Just my opinion.....

Cheers :D

Ok since you know so much about the history of the frequencies and their past call letters i take it that you lived in colorado all your life and that your about what? 60? That would be the only way you could remember those call letters and where they were on the fm dial.
For your info I am not wrong, I don;t just type out the answers out of mid air, that would be unwise of me to do! No if someone asks a questions I search for it and that is what I came up with and like on the other question he asked i used the only logical site to get my answer.
Just so you know T.J. asked about 105.1 NOT 107.5, so stick with the topic ok? That is what i did he didn't ask about 107.5 one bit he just asked about KADX and I answered him.
And for your answer KADX was on 105.1 (look it up on FCC.GOV) under KXKL. They just don't have a date when that station was KADX.
So who is wrong here? Me? No.
Here is proof direct from the FCC's website:
KXKL-FM 07/03/1987
KBRQ-FM 01/20/1982
KADX

Try 43 (But I would remember Denver Radio from about 1980 on so I ought to know a little something)
For your info I am not wrong, I don;t just type out the answers out of mid air, that would be unwise of me to do! No if someone asks a questions I search for it and that is what I came up with and like on the other question he asked i used the only logical site to get my answer.
Well your source is either not reliable or not very well kept up to date.
Just so you know T.J. asked about 105.1 NOT 107.5, so stick with the topic ok? That is what i did he didn't ask about 107.5 one bit he just asked about KADX and I answered him.
I know what he was asking for HOWEVER you indicated that KRKY was on 105.1 in 1980 when in fact (See your own table below) KRKY was NEVER on that frequency unless it was changed from KRKY to KADX in the middle of the year (Which I doubt)
And for your answer KADX was on 105.1 (look it up on FCC.GOV) under KXKL. They just don't have a date when that station was KADX.
This is why you should at least cross-reference this INCOMPLETE piece of information with another source that seems to have more complete (If not ACCURATE as well) information. That's why you're being chastised WRIKER.

As such.....
So who is wrong here? Me? No.
YES. Because giving out incomplete information is just as bad as giving out INACCURATE because IT IS BASICALLY ONE & THE SAME.
Here is proof direct from the FCC's website:
KXKL-FM 07/03/1987
KBRQ-FM 01/20/1982
How nice. But by your own admission, it's incomplete.

OBTW.....While we're on the subject, I assume KBRQ-FM took over 1280 once KTLK left to simulcast 105.1. Am I correct or not? (I don't pretend to be perfect).

Cheers :D

At least in 1975, the KADX calls were on 105.1....a little research might show them in use there prior/after that time:

1975 Broadcasting Yearbook

Will good researching there, man.. Would take a whole to find it but it is interesting to see all the call letters in the past expecally KOOL who would have thought that was in use in the past.
But again good job on the reasearch on that call letter :)
