Just wondering if anyone else had been paying attention to the new "The All New Flag News Show"? Interesting concept for Flagstaff. The big surprise for me was hearing Jeff Demand on there. I last heard him on KYCA/KAHM.
Any thoughts? Oh, by the way, it's on from 6 AM to 10 AM. (Mon - Fri)

Actually, Eric, I know Jeff and he is a listener. In fact, he's a listener that knows more about radio than many I've met in the last 30 years in this business. Maybe because he hangs out on sites where "only radio people" post.

Since when? I'm a listener - never worked in broadcasting in my life and don't particularly want to - and I've been posting on R-I and its predecessors since 1997. And I'm hardly the only non-broadcast professional here.

While listening to 93.9 The Mountain this morning, Eddie introduced Jeff Demand doing the AZ news. It made me think about this string, posted a few months back.
I also, remember Jeff doing the news on KYCA in Prescott for a few years, IIRC. He is a great addition to the KMGN / Eddie Miller Rock Shop.

Eddie has always made his shows interesting and informative... 8)

(Sure would be cool if several people made occasional posts on this AZ board) ::)
 
When in Flagstaff, I listened to the news on 93 AM in the am and was impressed with the quality of the show, hope it is successful, it seems like it fills a need for local news - an features the late, great Channel 2 News' weather man, Lee Born.

Even more news, KAFF AM can now be heard on 93.5 FM. Sort of funny, if one thinks about it for a minute, That's 3 in a row. KAFF FM (92.9), KAFF AM on FM (93.5) and KMGN 93.9 FM.
 
all you ever post about is KAFF or The Great Circle products, makes me wonder how you are such an avid "listener" that you only post positive stuff about that company. As you say it...HMMMMMM Interesting!
 
I'll make this really simple, being as my posts are in question, I'll stop posting. I do like keeping things simple.
 
Im not trying to pick a fight, I just think it's interesting that all you ever post about is Great Circle. Most analyze the market as a whole, not just one company. Speaking of which, why has the deal never be consumed by Anderson? Looks like he only has an "option" on the table still, nothing official.
