KAGM MORNINGS

Is it just me or have things gotten even worse sounding with Larry and Dianne? It sounds like Radio 101 in terms of show flow! You hear Dennis Snyder coughing and hanging up before and after his live spots, there's the constant miscues between elements with the hosts either being cut off or talking over the sweepers, and does their producer not know we're not supposed to hear the cue tones before or after network newscasts? My God, its awful to hear Larry and Dianne being butchered by bad switching!!

Holy crap..it just gets better. glad i didn't return the GM's
call back last year.

After listening to the KAGM Morning and Afternoon shows, I predict fewer KAGM posts, because those two shows are so bad we can put a fork in them they are d o n e.

KAGM will dies a slow death.

This will be a second bad year for AGM. The new 105.1 Recurdo will devastate KLVO which already has dropped and with KAGB leaking. I think we no longer have to beat a dead horse all their GM can do is yell UNCLE.

And in the meantime, Pat Frisch is sounding pretty darn good! I can't stand to spend much time listening through the 30+ minutes per hour of commercial inventory, but for the short time he is on, he moves things along well, sounds engaged, and does not seem to be trying too hard like Villanucci. I'd say Frisch will be moving to a larger market soon - he deserves it! By the way, it has been awfully quiet as to the whereabouts of the former KAGM afternoon hosts - anyone know what is going on with them? When Phil was on by himself, it was a pretty good show. It is unlikely he will get another solid local gig as he has the rep of suing his (ex)employer. This time though, not a sound.

Bah the sad state of affairs here in Albuquerque has me looking to XM or Sirius radio. Yeah I have to pay for it, but I just can't see myself listening to anything around here anymore. Nobody tries anything different or entertaining, I'm tired of KKOB, 94Rock, and when I thought KAGM had something to offer they dropped the ball on that as well. So it looks like sat. radio might just get another customer :(

Way too many radio stations in this town and nobody doing anything different.

Brother, now its the same in every market. I remember about 14 years
ago taking a job in San Diego, I drove out from the East Coast, every
market had good, bad, and few great stations. Now the biggest difference
is they all have slick-produced formats, zero room for error, and blandness.
The stations that back in the day had bad jocks, or the unfocused music, were still more entertaining than what I often hear these days, mainly stations
that basically were downloaded from corporate hq.
