KAHL 1310 to simulcast on 103.7- San Antonio

With approval from the FCC. KAHL 1310 will begin simulcasting on 103.7. The application was filed on November '07 and still pending approval. 103.7 is not a bad signal and can be heard throughout San Antonio. How likely is a format flip once simulcasting begins??

I'd say a flip is almost a certainty. I'd figure that format a dog as a biller, although funeral homes, assisted living facilities and prescription medicine manufacturers do need a place to put their ad money.

I agree. I think it will be an easier sell for KAHL to be on two frequencies and with a different format. However, Barger is probably or already has a potential buyer for the station once simulcast is approve by the FCC.
