They are clearing the band with over-modulated garbage from 101.9 to 104.1. This isnt the first time they have this trouble. It makes 102.5 and 103.3 nearly unlistenable in lafayette.

Just drove in from Houston to New Orleans. KAJN is completely slamming KBIU 103.3 before you even get out of Calcascieu parish. Additionally, it is causing interference with WCDV as far west as the Iberville/WBR parish line.

It was tearing up 103.7 out of Houston in Lake Charles and I could hear spurs from 102.9 up and down the band there...as far UP to 104.3 !!!
A call to the NO FCC office tomorrow is on the calendar.

and wouldnt you know it? I am headed to the area Thursday AM...R2670 spectrum analyzer will be with me.....so will camera....I may need to stop at their studios...the wheels are in motion...tsk tsk...
Anybody think of picking up the phone or sending an email to them?
99% chance their transmitter is simply out of adjustment and they have no clue it is even happening...
