Kaliente 102.9 launches

That 102.9 facility is horrible. It has static on Roper Mountain Rd it’s so directional. In fact, in Mauldin, I get 102.9 The Lake from Charlotte stomping on top of it.

I’m not sure who thought this was a good place to put a translator. I get the dial’s packed in the market, but what’s the point if the signal is so awful?

Yes it causes interference with 102.9 the Lake from Charlotte. Had to strategically adjust the rabbit ears to null out the Paris Mtn. signal and pull in 102.9 from Charlotte back when I lived in Mauldin. But of course here in the Upstate iHeart wants you to listen to the Greenville Lake on 102.5 rather than their Charlotte Lake on 102.9.
