KAMC TV in Lubbock doing wide-screen newscast (sort of)

I noticed during our recent severe weather episode that KAMC 28 now fills the entire screen. Granted, they use a background graphic (similar to what the network newscasts do for standard packages) to fille the edges, but I still thought that was cool. At least someone in Lubbock is trying to make things look modern, even if it isn't full HD.
