So will the switch the KAMP HD2 off for now?
Hardly anybody in Los Angeles has a HD radio so if they change it there is no rush. KMVQ in SF launched a HD2 Dance channel to fill the void after Energy 92.7 flipped to Top 40. Maybe they could simulcast that on 97.1 HD2. Or maybe KZZO in Sacramento. Its a Hot AC with a CHR lean but its close to Shopie format or they can put on Alice in SF too.

Energy 103.7 FM is exactly like 97.1 Amp radio. It looks like the pulled the plug on KAMP HD2 for now.

Why do you say that? Have you tuned in to 97.1-2? I doubt CBS just turned it off.

I have. KAMP-HD2 ceased broadcasting last night after the flip, my HD Radio only picks up KAMP-HD1 and no side-channels. It would make no sense for them to keep relaying KSCF (or KEGY, as it's becoming) on KAMP-HD2 -- the reason they were relaying it into Los Angeles in the first place was to cover a format hole that CBS has in L.A. to attempt (in a very small way given HD Radio's reach/popularity, IMHO) to go up against MYfm. Why would they rebroadcast a format on an HD side-channel that's already being well-served in the market by a station that's already on the main FM/HD1?
In related news, has anyone else noticed that KYSR's HD signal has been down for almost a week now? No one at Clear Channel seems to notice.

CBS radio bring back Dance in LA. Its been a long time someone has put this format on the air. I don't if other people don't have HD radio. I do! lol

I notice KBIG HD2 Pride radio has been playing the same loop of music too. I dont think they care about they sub channels anymore. Thanks CC.

The Clear Channel HD2s are all nationally programmed. Seems like a lot of companies don't care anymore -- Cumulus also dropped KLOS-HD2, which I liked, and replaced it with a simulcast of KABC. What's the point of touting all these new formats that HD Radio can provide if no one takes advantage of them? Honestly, it's just another reason why HD Radio is such a huge failure.

Well in the long run HD radio will benefit because all the major cell phone companys are going with Limited data plans. Me being a AT&T customer. I can't stand them right now. So I've been using my hd radio alot lately.

Those stations were back in 90's for Mars, and Groove. KDL lasted a year in early 2000s. We are in 2012 and this music is blowing up. KDLD HD2 no longer exists. Entravision pull the plug on them 2 years ago.
