KAMP SOUNDS TOO STALE

Its just my opinion, but as a CHR listener, KAMP used to be quicker on new music. Now they seem to "find" new music after KIIS or even KXOL. While I realize we live in a PPM world where playing it safe tends to reward you with higher numbers, I don't think it would be too out in left field for KAMP to be faster on new music.

I heard KIIS play Zedd's "Spectrum" in regular rotation last Saturday afternoon, which was a quick add for an EDM artist without much notoriety. I would think KAMP would stand to benefit by adding a few tracks that KIIS wasn't on yet, especially in the EDM world, as a way to show they are a little more hip than their counterpart. Just my two cents, though.

If KAMP is seen as too stale then how do we know that CBS won't screw CHR in LA like they did back in 1980's when KKHR CHR was around.

The 80's CBS is only the 2012 CBS in name. The current CBS has the DNA of Infinity and Westinghouse.

True CBS Inc. has a majority investor and its National Amusements Inc and So is New Viacom. I know that Viacom merged with CBS around the time that Infinity Broadcasting merged. Also I do know that Sumner Redstone's Family is in the board of Directors for both companies.
