90.5 KLHW - On-air last I heard it but the sound was somewhat quiet.

95.3 KCPZ - On-air, but weaker than it had been last year, it also has somewhat distorted audio. Their Facebook page said last year they moved the antenna, but no filing with FCC.

97.7 KNIU - Off-air or very low power since late January, they told me the transmitter only transmits a couple blocks now and they might need a new one. I suggested they contact Life 88.5 and ask for help.

98.5 KPPZ - Off-air now after broadcasting dead air since late December.

100.1 KONN - On-air and seemingly doing well. :)

100.5 KOJH - Maybe on-air, maybe not. Last I heard it was on, but only covering a mile or less and dead air.

100.7 KCGG - On-air, but I think the power level changes sometimes, and it rebroadcasts a full-power station and may be co-owned with them.

102.7 KGPZ - I think it's on-air, but it's in the suburbs and I've never heard it. According to their stream they are up.

The only ones with stereo broadcasts are/were 97.7 when it was on, 100.1, 100.7, and maybe 102.7.

I feel a bit sorry for some of these stations... Maybe one or more of them can sell the station(s) or cancel them.

KNIU 97.7 came back on within the past hour or two!
See my post in the Kansas section.

98.5 filed a resume operations. I cannot hear it on and haven't since my last post. Maybe they're planning on it.

Never mind about 97.7, haven't heard it since last post either, it was on only momentarily.

Was still on this morning, but off now.

Maybe they were just testing.

They turned off 104.7 at the end of last April and still haven't returned on either channel.

I recently heard KOJH-LP on the air on 100.5. However, it's extremely weak and quiet with no audio processing sounds like. KONN-LP does much better and further and is lower than KOJH-LP, maybe the latter can use the former's engineers to fix their's.

KCPZ-LP has had lots of dead air the past couple days. These transmitters should be made to shut off when no sound comes through...

KCPZ-LP fixed their audio.

The others are still off, KLHW-LP, KNIU-LP and KPPZ_LP.

98.5 has been completely off everr since my last post. So the pattern is, they come on every once in a while, broadcast dead air for a couple/a few hours, then shut it off...

Now 100.1 seems like it's a lil stronger though, at least for the past couple of days.

100.1 seems like its back to low power or lower power.

Meanwhile KOJH-LP 100.5's internet streaming is down again, and still no sign of the FM. This is why I'm not a big supporter of the upcoming filing window, the stations from the last one aren't making it.

100.1 KONN-LP is making an electrical humming sound on-air, nothing else. Very loud, sounds like a transformer's about to go or something... Their streaming is fine, though.

[UPDATE] They replied they'll fix it when they can. No idea what the sound is but hopefully they won't have to replace equipment.

Now KONN-LP is humming and they also fixed their music too. SO both humming and music... I strongly would suggest turning this off until the humming is fixed, maybe an electrical issue and I'd hate to have it explode.

Here's an audio clip, the station's real weak but can still be heard.
