Kansas city needs a rhythmic

Wouldnt you think that by now someone would have put a Hip Hop and R&b rhythmic in KC. I was just thinking about this the other day. They have 103.3 Which is an Urban, that Sucks, and they have Z95.7, which is Rhythmic leaning Mainstream, but still no Straight ahead rhythmic. Wouldnt you guys think that a Rhyhmic would do well in KC? As a matter of fact, if im not mistaken Z95.7 has a very weak signal in KC, and fades out fast going east, because of a Country station in Colunbia, or Jefferson City. However Z957 has a good signal in Topeka, and covers alot of Wheat Fields. Of course in K.C that Reggeaton, and Latin stuff that most rhythmics play wont fly. Maybe thats why Z95.7 is still a Hybrid, of POP and Rhythm mainstream. Any Thoughts on this one?

Urban isn't THAT different than Rythmic. But yeah, they need a Rythmic station. Maybe they can construct one of the AC stations since they have two.

Star 102 ratings are low since they sound like a Hot AC station but Star 102 allways tweak their music after christmas. Cumulus is moving 107.7 KMAJ Topeka into the KC market which will mainly cover johnson county. This might be our answer and hopefully it will happen soon.
