Kansas city takes knapp

I thought this guy was long gone from KLIF-AM, but he certainly is now. Jimroseremembersradio.com reports Greg Knapp heading to KC for mornings at another Cumulus station. I'm betting there won't be a replacement until the buyout's done, if even then.

Once the buyout goes through they should simulcast the WBAP morning show and Mark Davis on both WBAP and KLIF, then Rush on WBAP and Glenn Beck on KLIF and so on. Then Cumulus could co-brand as Dallas' conservative talk stations....just a an idea :D

It would be a good idea, if 820 was a pissant signal, but its not. So to me it does not make sense to simulcast.

Really, neither is 570 during daytime. 570 gets out there a good long way. At night, of course, you're lucky to get it in McKinney.
