Just read up about the joint venture known as JOSH broadcasting, between Jodesha and Sunnylands, to bring 93.7 and a new 98.5 allotment closer to the Seattle market. Pretty interesting, and to Bill as well as the group over at Sunnylands, good luck with it! I do have a couple questions though:
Now that KNBQ has exited from the country format, will 93.7 stay country? And would 93.7 still promote businesses and tourist areas in the Grays Harbor area, toward the audience in the Puget Sound area and those driving toward the Grays Harbor area? (like for example, how KRXV, KHWY, and KHYZ in Barstow/Baker, CA, for people driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas).
As for the new 98.5, how will the coverage area and transmitter/COL placement work out with CIOC 98.5 in Victoria, as far as spacing? Here as far south as Central Kitsap, 98.5 from Victoria comes in like a local station, especially on any north-facing beaches, where even a walkman can get a good signal.
