I can almost predict what KRSE will play next...the playlist is probably 800 songs if that. KJAQ is about 800-900 maybe. KWVN might be 1500 or more based on how many oh wows I'm hearing!

I got it all the way to the Y on US 12 outside Naches so it has a good path

Thanks for the signal report on 107.3. It's at 1/3 power at the moment, should be full speed this week. Also we may be adjusting the antenna orientation. Transmitter is on Cosi Hill near Aberdeen.
 
Wow, that means it was only running about 1 kw! That thing will be a blowtorch! Ok maybe not, but we'll see next time I'm down that way, early August at the latest.

I for one am extremely happy to have another Spanish station in the market.
 
The 12/410 intersection? Haven't been up that way yet to check for DX. I wonder if you could get the WA Coast stations from up there at White Pass?

Both KSWW and KDUX have co-channels in the Wenatchee area.

KFFM would come in around Olympia sometimes.
 
KRQT has the oddest signal. I can hear them clearly up to Chehalis on I-5 and out to Francis, but 30 miles or so in the other direction into Vancouver they're quite weak. They must be highly directional.
 
Just an update on the new KANY 107.3 - The signal is claimed by a CSN translator in the Tacoma area with no sign of country. Sometimes you can pick up the Cosmpolis Hill stations around this area.
 
Rocket used to make it to Vancouver/Portland area, but a new alternative station popped up on 107.1 in Portland . now it's a KQAC HD-2 all-classical

KRQT still pops up in Portland, you just have to be in the right spot from the Portland translator. In Gresham KRQT mixed with the Portland station.
I could hear KRQT up at Hood Canal and maybe up to Edmonds as well during tropo. Also heard them in Auburn when KRWM was totally off the air for about a half-hour one time. I also heard KLTH and likely CHWF and KMOK on 106.9 in and out.

I have heard KFFM really well on 101 heading onto SR-8 in Olympia, way tougher now with Greenwater CSN. Shockingly I could not hear them in Shelton, a pipeline for the east. Instead it was KEGX 106.5 Richland, 98.3 KEYW, 99.1 KUJ, maybe 89.1 KFAE, and 92.9 KDBL/91.1 KYPL/101.7 KLES Prosser. I-5 at Nisqually has the same pipeline. KDBL comes in for about a mile or two heading north around exit 114.
Going on I-5 near Toledo/Winlock I heard KARY 100.9 for about a mile as well.

Thanks for the DX tips! I'll try those next time I'm down that way. As for the 107.1 translator, how many different stations has that thing rebroadcast? About 7 years ago, it was rebroadcasting KXPC, then was switched to KQAC's main signal, now it's rebroadcasting the hd2 which I believe is KMEZ. I'm not sure whether the input is KQAC-hd2 or the main KMEZ signal. Apparently it was also rebroadcasting KNRK one point? I heard KRQT about 6 miles north of the state line when I was down there a month or so ago, but it was nowhere near as strong as it would have been the same distance to the north.
