KANYE ON CAT COUNTRY

Nice contest on Cat Country. When you hear Kanye interrupt a Taylor Swift song, call in to win tickets. Just your basic call-in contest but done with some creativity. I actually smiled when I heard the promo.

I have to say Taylor swift s young as she is has more class than any other music star. She has a bright future ahead of her.

But if she continues in the direction she's going in, she won't be played on country radio much longer. I'm only a recent country listener and am not one to pick apart who is and isn't country but in her case I'll make an exception and say she is in no way shape or form a country singer. Maybe she needed the format to break in but once she broke in she has crossed over permanently. I know there are country and non country mixes of her songs but I don't think I can tell the difference. She's a refreshing break from much of the garbage that's on top 40 radio but her next album will tell the story.

Taylor Swift is a younger, 21st Century Version of Faith Hill..crossover never hurt anybody..given the fact Ms. Swift is now headlining stadiums this summer--Gillette being one of them--her career is white hot, and if she's given good material to sing, or continues to write much of what she does, she's going to be around for awhile, on AC, Hot AC, Lite AC, and Country..
