Karen Garcia thread

I'm not exactly sure why a thread paying tribute to a friend and co-worker was eliminated from this board. Don't think it violated any rules or such...

Guess if we can't share feelings about the loss of a colleague (regardless of circumstances or others speculation and rumor-mongering about it), then I really question the need for this board at all.

Why doesn't everyone go back to back-stabbing and bashing each other's stations?

I'm pretty much done with this forum.

And I'm not hiding behind a screenname...

Not a mod, but here's my guess.

Turned into a personal attack between the latter posters on the thread. Pretty immature, considering who the parties involved were. Luckily, you can still read the good posts below about Karen, as to which I would like to include my condolences.

Regardless of who reported what, the loss of Karen is an awful tragedy. Our prayers go out to her friends, family, and all of us as her colleagues. After listening to her move down the valley, she's definitely one of the reasons that this job isn't called "disc jockey", it's called "On-air Personality"... And personality is where she always excelled.

You, sir, are correct. On both statements.

Tough to maintain focus when you're not in the sandbox! Sad isn't it?
