Wednesday is Karen's Birthday. Let's all make her day...when she calls, sing happy birthday to her!

Happy Birthday to You,
Happy Birthday to You,
Happy Birthday dear KAREN
Happy Birthday to You!

Ahh damn, just talked to her. I'll surprise her tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

The celebration was actually last night, as Karen's Dad had cataract surgery today. Here was the take, according to the birthday girl:

-A portable DVD Player <with the following DVD titles>
-Urban Cowboy
-Kung Fu Panda
-9 to 5
AND Season 6 of 90210!!!

She also was given a Faberge' Egg! *That was the 'artsy farsty thing' that Guido the Killer Pimp almost did not sell back to Joel in the movie Risky Business, FYI.

She was amazed that I knew it was her birthday and wanted to know who told me. She didn't believe me when I said I read about it on the web...

Yea, when she called me tonight (as she does every night) I sang her "Happy Birthday" and she said to me: "Mo' Bounce, you're a mess"

She's right.

Happy B-Day to Karen!!

"Just Checkin' In.......Ehhh Heh" if anyone thinks of it, please wish Karen a belated happy Birthday from Tom Bigbee...thanks

THE Tom Bigbee? Formerly of 93Q? Where are you these days? Get the answer right and I'll say hello to Karen for you...

Responding on behalf of my colleague in The Red Headed League (that's Sherlock Holmes BTW) Tom Bigbee is the afternoon guy at 95-9 The Ranch. They are located in the stockyards of Ft.Worth, Texas. They have the coolest studios I have ever seen other than KBXX/KMJQ, and they serve the parts of the Metroplex radio audience that are rarely served by the "Big D" stations. www.959theranch.com. They have a sister station that is the finest Classic Country station on FM I have ever heard. www.countrylegends921.com is how you find them.

I grew up in Ft.Worth and really admire what they are doing.
