Karlson & McKenzie on WZLX, getting better

Karlson & McKenzie have been on WZLX for just over 4 months now. I expected great things from them based on their previous work but they seemed to be holding back when they got to Boston. I was not impressed at first.

Lately, K&M have started to grow on me. I think they are getting comfortable on ZLX and in Boston and it sounds like it. They have done some adjustment to the show but I think it still needs a bit of fine tuning but you can't do it all at once.

They are not as edgy as I expected though. Maybe the next ZLX Program Director will allow them more freedom like they had in NY. The K&M website is also novel but not as progressive as it was before they came to Boston. All things considered, Karlson and McKenzie are starting to sound more like what I expected. Let's hope they continue to get their act together and show us their full potential. What do you think?

Ah - they do nothing for me. They sound like a bad hybred of Lauren and Wally and the Bob and Tom show.

Crank calls, and acting like John Dennis from 'EEI (Like they did today to mess with a caller whom accedentially called the wrong number) is old and unoriginal (and not funny).

Thusfar I am unimpressed and hardly listen to 'ZLX in the mornings because of them (I wasn't a Sweeny fan either, but I could listen to him throught the morning). Maybe K&M will get better and change my mind - who knows. . .

But Lee Roth on which station?

Do K & M get bounced for a new format? beau raines has left the building.

Changes are in the air.

You're wrong as usual. No changes are in the air, Beau Raines leaving means nothing, they're not switching format. DLR = WBCN and that is all there is to it. It is a done deal, there is no speculation, that is where he will be, K & M? they will not be there, he will, end of story.

Still confused? I can go over it again if it would help.

I'm sure they'll get better and more comfortable. They were great to listen to on WPDH. Is Heather Ford still with K&M?

There are billboards for David Lee Roth on BCN starting Jan 06. That's their plan so far.

Yes, she has made the move to WZLX with them.
