KASR....

Ok, did I see somewhere on here that Mike was trying to get new calls for KASR? Now today I hear some sort of 70's rock when I should have been hearing The Herd on ESPN. Did he just have the bird dialed to the wrong spot or is he flipping now that the Democrat Gazette mentioned that he has 25,000 watts?

The 25 kilowatt signal has some pretty good coverage but their audio leaves alot to be desired-actually this afternoon it was awful whereas this morning it was just the usual thin sounding mono. They were airing "Keeping the 70's alive" this morning, ESPN radio in the early afternoon and more fairly stale music at about 4:30 this afternoon.

If you have ever seen the equipment that he hauls out to ballgames you can tell that KASR is certainly "keeping the 70's alive"....

LOL -- that thing that Chris carries up the steps at football games look like it weighs 300 pounds and is clearly circa 1976.

<wringing hands and twirling moustache> ooohhhhh what I could do with that station.....
