RE: Misterfrequency... I don't know how they do things over at Conoco where you work, but I must defend my good friend Kat. Often times the client doesn't really care if the talent uses the product or has results with the product. They just want to sell MORE product. Kat's job was not to get results for herself but rather for the client. To that end she did her job remarkably well.
Kat is a single mother and no doubt could have used the extra income the endorsement provided. I have known her for quite a while and can tell you that she is a true professional and great person. To attack her for not losing enough weight shows your lack of understanding of the business broadcasting has become. As for her on-air performance: I don't need to defend her. She is a pro and sounds best when she can be herself and not read liner cards or voice-track. CC management has let yet another opportunity to actually have a great personality on the air doing live, local and compelling radio.
