I wonder if she gets money for this interview? If so I guess that'll pay off her fines

Being on an interview produced by a news division, Jennifer Wilbanks won't be compensated financially, but will gain a major platform to express her views.

TV News' Next Big "Get" (Was: Re: Katie gets Runaway Bride)

Already, the battle is on between the networks to get the first post-trial interview with Micheal Jackson.

It will be one of the biggest "gets" (being first to land a TV interview with a high-profile newsmaker), if not the biggest "get", in television news history.

I suspect that Jackson will be doing a TV interview with either Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, or Barbara Walters.

My guess: Diane Sawyer will land the interview.

Don't be surprised if such an interview occurs and is broadcast by the end of this month (June, 2005).

Word is Wilbanks may be getting a half-mil from NBC to participate in a made for TV movie. That's getting around paying for the interview.
