Katie Raml, once that shy midwestern farmer's daughter who wore only lip gloss, has been transformed into looking like a casino hostess! The eyeliner, the long bleached yellow hair, the dark revealing blouses and bling-bling make Nurse Jeff and I wonder how much longer it will be before she's sent to the Beverly Kidd Augmentation Hut? Guess when you're number last, it's because your anchor doesn't look trashy enough! YIKES...it's enough to blow the bola tie off Bill Close.

Yep, Katie Raml is now KNXV's go-to anchor for breaking Lohan/Hilton/Richie stories or anything related to Scottsdale strip clubs or casinos.
Wonder if she could combine her fashion-forward interests and extracurricular political activities somehow? Hey, how about "Crusading TV News Trailer-Trash Fights for Abortion Rights!" Full story at 10!

It might have helped her to have had six or seven years of seasoning in a smaller market like in the days of yore. But as we've discussed before, she had the right local connections, was blonde ( as long as the roots don't take over
), and was likely quite cheap. Bingo -- instant anchor for ABC15 !

If you think that's bad, then might the Middle Eastern Men of the Media recommend FOX10's Isis Romero? Not only does she slur words, but manages to make more delivery mistakes than a Cardinals coach! The added bonus is the poofy 70's style coiffure. YIKES!

Tammy Faye Raml to the Rescue!
OK, I know it seems like this thread will go on forever but, really, Katie (aka Tammy Faye) Raml is a neverending source of good material.
Although I missed it, a friend informed me that Ms. Raml is out in SoCal joining in on the media circus. You know -- giving us the 1,000th interview from QualComm Stadium and generally wandering around trying to grab someone.
Well, 15 has posted on their website one of Tammy Faye's reports which has to be Youtube worthy !!!
Check out the video story "AZ crews continue to battle CA wildfires" on the home page under 15.com Netcast at www.abc15.com.
Wade through it and you'll see Raml wearing this big black bandana while talking to the camera and while actually interviewing a fireman from Bullhead City who is helping out. I mean LOL -- I don't know how this guy keeps a straight face. Maybe he's actually scared and thinks she's an attacking Al Qaeda terrorist or maybe trying to rob him!
She looks completely ridiculous.
Uhhh Ms. Raml, if you're trying to protect yourself from the smoke (although no one else in the video seems to be bothered) that bandana is doing zero for you. In fact, if dry, it may be more dangerous since it could catch an ember and catch on fire.
On the other hand maybe she's just trying to protect herself (and others) from a major makeup meltdown.
That could prove really catastrophic for CA. Also, could be station managment may require her to start wearing the bandana over her face during every newscast.
