I know we are supposed to post North Florida radio related subjects here but it seems our rantings about ratings, formats, PDs...etc...etc....seem so insignificant in the wake of the hurricane.
Yesterday, Channel 4 news showed this African American man who kept saying over and over he had nothing and he lost his wife. His wife's last words were "take care of the kids." He had no place to go and he was holding on to his children for dear life. That was just one of too many heart-breaking stories.

I know I'm not alone but this whole thing makes me so depressed and at the same time so thankful that my problems are really minor ones.

If we need to tie this to radio, I have mixed feelings about what I have been hearing on the talk shows on WOKV. I just don't care to get into specifics the way I'm feeling right, maybe later. Thanks guys for letting me vent a bit....
