KATY PERRY - PEACOCK

I'd say no, but not because of the title (it can't get much more explicit on CHR than "S&M"), but I really can't see this song have a long shelf life. It's a weak song, overly repetitive, and having a questionable chorus doesn't help its chances either.

I was just reading an article about Katy Perry tying MJ's record for five #1s from the same album, and the article stated that the label hadn't decided if it would release a sixth single from the album yet.

If I had to venture a guess, I'm guessing they'll fall on the side of the greed and squeeze every last drop of blood from this turnip, and release a sixth single, though.

Greed or not, doesn’t it make good business sense to do this? Why wouldn’t they?

The FCC would have a fit (and so would conservative groups of parents) - and it's almost impossible to censor this song, since the entire subject of the whole song is wanting to see a guy's peacock

Stations might be able to get away with it in the extreme most Northern states - but as a country, IMO no way it's gonna happen
