KAVT 1680 AM Fresno New Calls and Format

KAVT 1680 AM Fresno is no longer a Radio Disney Affiliate, the contract to carry Radio Disney expired on Feb 29. RAK Communications the owner of the station has changed calls to KGED and installed Dial Global's Adult Standards format with music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's. The station will be known as Legends 1680. A new local studio is under construction for the station, maybe they will hire some local talent as well. Good luck to RAK with the new station format.

Don't Robert LaRue and his brother, Knox Jr. own RAK Communications? The same LaRue's that own Classic Hits KSTN-1420 and Regional Mexican KSTN-107.3 in Stockton?

I might be wrong but didn't KJWL-99.3 use the Dial Global Adult Standards satellite format? When did KJWL change format?

former Clear Channel KALZ and KRZR PD E. Curtiss is in the house at KJWL. They
are now doing real radio.
