KAZD-DT 54 (virtual 55) has added an informerical station to it's .2, pushing Biz TV and LATV to .3 and .4 respectively.

Er, unless I'm missing something, Biz TV and LATV have been on .3 and .4 since launch, or so says the PSIP I saw.

KAZD-DT 55 (RF 39) has added an informerical station to it's .2....

It looks like KAZD has finally shaken the infomercial habit ;D 55.2 is now broadcasting an Asian programming network.

It's actually Vietnamese programming of some kind. Probably a pretty good audience for such a thing in this market.

... or perhaps not. There's a new station on 55.5 labelled RF-TV. Maybe I just caught it at a bad time, but right now it's showing an infomercial :

55.5 is Revenue Frontier TV - nothing but infomercials.

Not to mention that it's the most-ridiculous name for a channel I've ever seen -- no doubt as a way to woo in advertisers more than wooing in viewers.

I'm pretty sure Revenue Frontier is the exact same infomercial channel they were airing on 55.2. So they dropped it for what: 2 weeks, then added a new subchannel just to pick it up again?

Why bother? Would've been easier to just add VietFace to 55.5 in the first place :

And now 55.4 is showing infomercials too. (This used to be LATV until they jumped to KATA/50.1, then it was a nightlight for a while, then just a "for lease" slide....)

And of course Biz-TV moved up to 55.6 to make room for Manuel Solis's infomercials on 55.3 :

The lineup now:
55.1: Azteca
55.2: Viet Face
55.3: Manuel Solis
55.4: "CRTV" (infomercials)
55.5: Revenue Frontier (infomercials)
55.6: Biz TV

looks like the Sub channel number is about to be shed by alot Azteca America HD is coming soon according to legal notice from Time Warner Cable and it will be KAZD HD!

So either it will be Cable/Satellite only or they will slim down the OTA channels!

Maybe KYAZ will go HD at the same time.
