KAZG Station heard in Yuma

Thank you I am feeling a little better. I had my GE Superadio sent here by my cousin who lives in jacksonville. He sent that to me with some radio station tee shirts, and some Slim Jims that I had bought at a flea market last year.

Anyway the 1440 station comes in sometimes here in boring, and dry Yuma. There is a Sizzler here, and I have only had two steak dinners since my problem, but they were okay I guess. Ithink the mushrooms at the Sizzler are really good. I could probably eat more of them if they weren;t an extra 5 bucks. Huh? 5 dollars for mushrooms is mean I think.

I can sit in the parking lot here and hear Arizona Gold mostly in the early afternoon. It sounds good to hear the lamp timer station on my radio. How are you all there? I am sleepy now.

thank you

Howard

Nice to hear from you Howard, plus learn Lumberyard 14~Forty can be heard in Yuma. Nurse Jeff and I agree that $5 for mushrooms added to your Sizzler Steak is a rip...but then again these are difficult times and Sizzler needs your hard earned buck. BTW...what became of your friend's plan of hauling a bunch of used lawnmowers to the land of the Old Gringo and selling 'em to unsuspecting paisanos? Sounded like a bigger scam than those $5 mushrooms. We're sorry to hear about your tiredness...the Nurse and I are a lit woozy after downing that Tofurkey on Thanksgiving. Must be the triptophans I guess. Please let us know when your rig makes it back to Phoenix...we'll all head over to the Big Road Apple for some humble pie with the Luvable One. He's buying, dontcha know.

Doctor Akubar thank you for those kind words. Bill is not my friend anymore. He is a bad man. The lawnmowers were not used but beat up ones that sat in front of Home Depot stores in the weather and were sold at a bargain price to be painted up and brought to the southwest where people buy lawnmowers all the time. It was a hair bained scheme by this guy and he never paid us for driving them all over then I had a kind of heart attack.

thank you

Howard

Several years ago, Jay Leno noted that the Sizzler chain had just gone out of business and had sold their stock to the Nike Shoe Company.

Ha ha h caveman that was pretty funny huh? I'll bet Jay Lenno meant that the steaks were tough as show leather. Acutally the Sizzler here in Yuma is now called Hunter's steak house but it always used to be The Sizzler and I am not supposed to have any meat, or beef dinners anymore but i like them very much and I like the waitress there. Her name is Karen. She is nice a lot, and doesn;;t make fun when I ask for extra mushrooms. There are no real good radio here, so i like to try and hear 1440 for that music. I rented a neat car last week because my uncle's car was taken to the Chysler dealer to be fixed as he ran it with no oil, so I got to drive a Seebing convertable that has a satelite radio in it. I like that very much now. But Dick says I need to start to get a job, so if I get my commercial driving ticket back I can maybe start driving again for Hoagland Bros. They used to get me some nice short trips and I can be home a lot, but still go to Phoenix and Flagstaff that I like a lot because they have a real Sizzler there.

thank you

Howard

Pardon me for butting in - Cottonwood also has a "real" Sizzler and it's right in the shadow of the fabulous AM 1600 KYBC's tower and they run a sizzling 25 watts at night.

Sizzler update - Prescott also rocks to the Sizzlers meat.

By the way, KAZG has proven itself to be by far the most interesting radio station in AZ, as well as XMAS free. What does that say about our fair states state of radio?

There are two Sizzlers within the daytime coverage of Lumberyard 14~Forty, so Howard's welcome to come and clog his arteries while listening to the Gold Mine. Nurse Jeff and I also recommend one of the many "-bertos" taco stands in The Valley if you're into chewy meat, regardless of origin!

We agree....KAZG is one of the most interesting radio station in Arizona, even if Jim Sharpe has never worked there.

I have it on good authority that Jim Sharpe works at KAZG. The station is powered by his high-voltage personality. Of course, as we age we lose pep after sundown, and Jim (and KAZG) are no different....

The Sharpemeister may not be too pleased with the inference that
he puts out only 52 watts at night...when he feels like it. ;D
