KAZT's Mingus Mtn transmitter

Over the past few weeks, KAZT's Mingus Mtn transmitter has been working
inconsistently, at best. Contacting General Manager, Rich Howe via email,
he provided the following information.

"Thanks for your inquiry into channel 7. We have been experiencing intermittent microwave failure over the past few weeks. We have new equipment on order and expect it to arrive within the next couple of weeks. Thanks for your patience. We’re anxious to get this problem resolved."

And those of you in Phoenix watching MeTV on KAZT 7.2--have you noticed for the past 2-3 weeks now, every time they go from the end of a program (from the MeTV feed, delayed two hours, so I assume it's playing out of a server) to the TOH legal ID, the beginning of the ID track is upcut ever so slightly.

How much of this is an automation or a server error, and how much of it is a tech rolling the next element too tight? Although I tend to think there is no tech rolling the elements, but rather some automation/server goof.

Does Phoenix feed Prescott or does Prescott feed Phoenix? They have a morning show on 7.1 that looks local to Prescott but I'm not sure.

I believe that the majority of the programming, as well as the morning show is produced in Prescott and then sent down to Phoenix and all the other translators they have across the state. They do also have offices in Phoenix at 44th St. and Camelback but I'm not sure what capacity they serve.

Not sure where the feed originates. General Manager, Rich Howe, indicates they have "mended"
the microwave problem temporarily, until a new, permanent repair can be made. KAZT was off
the air on Mingus for about two days. Prior, they were inconsistent at best, for the past 2-3 weeks.
The show to which you refer is called "Morning Scramble" which is biased towards Prescott and
Northern Arizona.
