KBAR-FM (the former KEPG) still holds a CP for their upgrade from Class A to a C3, going from 6,000 watts to 14,000 so that has something to do with it.
When it comes to KULF's fomat I don't really agree. If it would actually get back on the air, I'd think that "Lite FM" would be still be a fairly good choice. There was another request filed last week for KULF to remain silent; quoting from the application, it's "pending repair/resolution of damage to its transmitting facility." Just what that means isn't clear.
