ANYONE ELSE have fond memories of? I moved back to Phoenix in 1980 and they were doing eclectic oriented radio or eclectic AC. remember mike del rosso and dennis mc broom among jocks
 
That's STEREO 99 KBBC! Art Webb in PM and W. Steven Martin pulling down AM drive. Great station, IMHO and great call letters.

I once got a tour of Channel 12 back in the 1970s when KTAR and KBBC were still located at then-KTAR TV's studios at Central and Portland. KTAR radio was running a Dodgers game (so all I got to see was a VU meter bouncing around) and Dennis McBroom was spinning vinyl across the hall at KBBC. I got to meet Dennis at the KTAR open house earlier this year. Nice guy and it's good to hear him on the air in town (no matter what alias he's using.)
