KBCA-41 Alexandria now on the air

KBCA is now on the air, a WB affiliate. I was up in the Ville Platte area this weekend and checked it out. The programming seemed to be identical to KLWB (WB Cable feed) from Lafayette, but did not compare too closely.

Could it be that KBCA is co-owned with KLWB and that KBCA is relaying KLWB's programming?

They've been on the air since June 1st. (http://www.radio-info.com/mods/board?Post=441270&Board=louisiana) Most WB affliates use a national feed that includes other programming than just the WB nighttime national and KBCA is apparently using that feed.

They've been on since June 1st. And if it looks like the WB100+ cable feed, that's because it is. KBCA is run off a computer in an office building across from the old Evangeline Downs in Lafayette. All it does is insert local spots and IDs.
