KBCW Newscast

I noticed on the grid that KPIX now has a weekday morning show for KBCW 7-9am but how long it will take on the might of KTVU and KRON, added to the fact that when how long will KRON will lose its MNTV affiliation and move to KTVU's sister station KICU. With The CW now part of KRON's owner Nexstar and Paramount/WBD holding smaller shares on the network with KBCW become independent again? TBH since KPIX has a half hour newscast, it would be better aired on KBCW instead since their streaming channel CBS News Bay Area has 9:30 to 11am exclusive stream.

I don't know for now when CW is really moving to KRON but as far as I know with the MyNetwork TV affiliation I don't think it's even a factor given that some of the Fox Owned My Network affiliates have been rebranding themselves after the Primary Fox O&O like KTVU plus, Fox 10 Xtra, Fox 5 Plus in some places.

they can keep the ktvuplus branding on KICU, but that will be the case of PHL 17 and WGN. Can Weigel give up their affiliation? It depends since much of Weigel's tv business is from their subchannel networks like METV. But since Tegna and Gray respectively have a lock in Tampa and Atlanta, Paramount would be better off selling those markets while they might look at KIRO for a duopoly with KSTW
