Does anyone know the story on this station. It also has two translators. Is it on the air what kind of coverage, format ETC?

Coverage is poor; they don't get a city grade signal into their community of license.
Static in COL is fairly bad.
The Moab translator has static from the incoming signal.
Format is satellite oldies.
Modulation is about 50-60%.
Broadcasting with left channel in mono only... California Dreaming was from the Mama's but the Papas were nowhere to be heard.
No imaging, no legal ID's in fact there is no local content whatsoever including advertising.
I drove through a few weeks ago and heard over 2 hours of dead air.
Not worth the $250k they are selling it for.

Driving throgh the 4-corners area on 8/6 I was able to pick up KBDX, who was broadcasting an oldies station from Cape Cod, MA (Dunes92?)...complete with Cape Cod ads, PSAs, and weather (oops?). And yes, the KBDX station ID came on near TOH.

Went thru the Monument Valley area to Moab Price and back thru Cortez and Farmington NM on 550 to ABQ at night late in 4/2010... WOW.. this station talks .. clear clean stereo signal for hours! The thing has a complete overhaul from my trip several years ago , its local professional and filled with local slick spots. This is a very slick ABC radio format i think (i truck and dx ;) with largely 70's 80's ABC news a REAL weather guy doing Four Corners forecast .. excellent translator sound both Moab and Cortez. I drove past their studio and station van in Cortez where they apparently hub. Interesting operation, website redrock92.com streaming also with huge coverage 92.7 , good job although the Hawaii simulcast was very cool!
