KBIG is MOViN!

KBIG now has spots saying the calls and dial position in spanish, is back to calling itself "KAY-BIG" and the new spots are high energy.

Have they been calling themselves "104.3 KBIG" for a while now? The playlist looks a little like what Magic 92.5 was doing in San Diego a couple of years ago, but with a few more currents.

Is KBIG and Movin' both considered Rhythmic Hot AC?

Do these changes put to rest the fact that KBIG is going to flip to country?

Before it was "one oh four three, k- b- i- g" (Spelled out. A point was made not to say BIG but always spell it out)

now its "KAY-BIG one oh four three"

Yes sir those are some mighty important changes. :D

I love the way all the lilly white consultants are all jumping on the bandwagon with Rhythmic music. :D

Why don't you idiot clueless GM's/OMS hire the people who pioneered this music. Don Kelly, Jerry Clifton, Jeff Wyatt, Steve Smith????

KBIG sounds like crap because "Chachi" is totally unqualified for the job. Why the hell this guy whose only claim to fame was being Jhani Kaye's programming assistant was made pd, I'll never understand. This station will always be a loser until they bring in someone who has real radio experience and can program.

BTW, they are still calling it "The New 1-0-4-3 K-B-I-G" tonight on Boggie Nights. Someone give Christian Wheel the memo.

It can't be too soon for this station to be killed off by Movin.

Because this is not 1980?

Because this is not CHURban?

Because we watched Clifton "fix" KTFM?

Because we don't want to do disco a nd freestyle in 2006?

And... what does a person's color have to do with this? It's about finding out what the listener wants and delivering.

I listened this morning, and they were still saying k-b-i-g, at least on the breaks I heard.

I stand corrected. Ive been hearing them use both today.... I only switch to KBIG when Movin is on break (or playing yet ANOTHER Sean Paul song)
