Any word on other candidates for the KBKO job? I thought the lady they had this week was pretty solid. I've heard the people at CC are pretty high on her.

All I can say is...PLEASE get Ken back soon!!! I don't think Rick and Miranda are doing KBKO any favors doing the show. It raised a few questions as to what the show would sound like without LaRae...but without Ken, it really falls apart. He IS the anchor of the show...no matter WHO is with him. I heard Ken had some surgery. I hope it was nothing serious and he's back behind the mike fast!

First...welcome back Ken! Great to hear you again! Second. I've heard Ken with the first audition (Heather?) and was impressed, sounded professional, a little edgy. I've also heard him with the news girl Miranda, not bad but nothing earth-shattering. Today, he auditioned a girl named Jenn ("Ken and Jen"...has a nice ring to it). Bright, energetic, friendly...VERY LIKEABLE. Hey CC...if I have a vote...JEN is THE ONE! Does anyone know if they are auditioning anyone else?
 
I agree. I thought the latest girl (I guess, Jen?) was good as well. Glad to hear they have some options to choose from. Hopefully, they will let Ken make the decision.
 
A sales girl there at CC told me that it will be Ken and Jen starting later this week. She's one of the girls that auditioned. I'm looking forward to hearing what he puts together. I don't think the show has suffered as much as some would have hoped after Laray left.

JENN was formerly MADISON at Top 40 WZYP/HUNTSVILLE. Also at KBKO, Promo Queen HANNAH HANNIVIG welcomes a new baby girl, ANNABELLA. Congrats HANNAH.
